We’re all about celebrating, especially when it comes to felines, so Felix Cat Insurance is launching “A Purr-fect Proposal” contest to help one cat-loving couple celebrate the next chapter of their lives. To provide a bit of holiday magic, we’re covering the cost of the engagement ring … as long as those popping the question promise to include their cat in the proposal!
We know our cats are our family members and we want to include them in major events and milestones so one winner will get $4,750 to help cover the cost of an engagement ring and receive a celebratory package for their special feline helper. Submissions will require you to share when and where your proposal took/will take place, how your feline was/will be involved, and any additional details that make your proposal plan unique. Submissions will be judged on creativity and originality.

Picture a proposal story that’s not just unforgettable for you and your partner, but one that includes your beloved cat! They’ve been by your side through first dates and breakups – it’s only fitting they join as you embark on this exciting new chapter.

- Dress to Impress: Let your kitty strut their stuff in a tuxedo or top hat. It’s not just adorable, but it also makes for the purr-fect photo opp. You can even opt for a quirky shirt or sweater that matches their personality.
- Ring Bearer, Feline Style: Snag a necklace ring box or custom collar so they can present the ring in style to your soon-to-be fiancé. Any feline parent would be gushing at the sight of their furry companion rocking such an important accessory!

Dates:
- The contest opens November 28th, 2023 at 12:01 a.m. EST and ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on December 19, 2023.
- The winner will be selected on December 22, 2023 and announced shortly after.
Eligibility & Rules:
- You must live in the United States.
- You must be 18+ in age.
- Proposal must take place within the month of December.
- This contest is not available in Washington or Puerto Rico.
